Hello everyone,
I'm Luca and I am the CEO of this new company, born, like all
successful ones, in a garage in California in the late '80s... just kidding, it was
actually born in London in the 21st century, but with an eye towards the mother of
the Renaissance.
This new company arises from a common dream of two guys, at the top of two
branches in the hospitality field, who wanted to shake up the market with a brand
new "gem" to associate with refined spirits... just kidding, I was left a widower in
this project.
So, let's start again...
Hello everyone, I'm Luca and I am the Founder, Owner, and CEO of The Soul Maker Ltd™ and today I am here to tell you about My idea, solid, granitic, and
long-lasting.
I have been working in the hospitality sector for a lifetime, and I have had training experiences in companies operating in the luxury district of Florence, working on
and creating polymaterial accessories using various techniques. I like to surround
myself with beautiful, elegant, and refined things. I believe I have an aesthetic taste
that has always helped me choose even the most particular accessories and tools
used in my activities and in my daily life.
Frequenting exclusive venues worldwide has given me the opportunity to observe the many objects and details that, when combined, enhance moments of
conviviality, creating welcoming and sophisticated atmospheres.
However, it was not the same for liquor pourers, too ordinary, too standard, too clone-like, without personality, cluttering the counters. Therefore, I wanted to
design and create a new one that expresses my taste. A taste that is the fruit of my
homeland: Tuscany.
The art of Tuscany is evident to all, our heritage is lost in past centuries, born and preserved in small artisanal shops that, from father to son, have always
represented the continuity of the heritage of techniques and knowledge.
Tuscany, a privileged place and an undisputed crossroads, where manual knowledge, aesthetic taste, and creativity have reached recognized excellences
worldwide. For many abroad, thinking of Italy means thinking of Tuscany.
My pourer, The Soul Maker Ltd™, embodies shapes and materials linked together by the
craftsmanship and art of Tuscany.
Looking out at the balustrade that delimits Piazzale Michelangelo in Florence means being able to embrace the art of the Renaissance in its various expressions... palaces, churches, treasure chests of precious masterpieces with unique and inestimable value. Polychrome marbles worked like lace adorn Santa Maria del Fiore, its dome, the work of Brunelleschi 1420 – 1436, the largest masonry dome in the world, inspired me for the shape of the pourer...
The immense paintings crowded with characters clad in precious robes... the
result of local productions... because Florence is also fashion, started in the first
half of the 14th century, but already the urban trait of the Arno river, since the
second half of the 12th century, was dotted with the fulling mills. Florence remains
to this day a reference point on the international fashion scene.
But Florence is also gold and silver, in connection with the textile industry,
particularly with silk, the workshops of the goldbeaters develop; also gold and silver are enhanced in artifacts worked by goldsmith artisans with piercing, embossing, and chasing techniques.
The elements that make up The Soul Maker Ltd™ want to represent all of this... the
marbles of our inlays, for the Monolith, the bamboo "borrowed" from accessories
of a famous and historic fashion house, for the body, and the precious metals used
by goldsmith artisans for the container of future spirits.
This is the Alchemy of The Soul Maker Ltd™.
I conclude with the customary but unusual and not taken for granted thanks...

• Especially to my Mother, who gave me a taste for beauty as an artist...
• Especially to my Blood Brothers, who are there despite everything and I for them...
• Especially to my Brother-in-law, who gave me the opportunity to experiment in a Magical World...
• Especially to My Muse, made of that substance dreams are made of and who lives in that fantastic world of Wonders...
• Especially to my Colleagues/Suppliers/Friends, who believe in this crazy project...
• Especially to Love, which truly moves heaven and earth and makes the most unexpected dreams come true...
• Especially to my old lifelong friends, who left me alone on this path.
Thanks to them, I understood that envy is a devastating weapon and the
world is full of small-minded men...
• Especially to Myself, who in this last decade relived the first and
second world wars on my skin and despite everything, the "somewhat
tired" smile has never left my face for a single day with a pair of sunglasses
on. In life, one really has to try and experience everything,Only in this way
can one accomplish, complete, make that passage of sublimation from
Crow to Swan... that Alchemical passage that allows you to see the world
with wide-open.
I conclude,
Especially thanks to "Sophia" + "E" who are the embodiment of "Divine Wisdom" and "Being", without them the world would be a sadder world, without beauty, without aesthetics and above all Art! !!
